Student answer (Band 6.0)
A healthy diet routine is very essential to meet all the requirements of a human body. Intake of vitamin pills has been seen very often these days, raising questions about money expenditure on these pills and how essential it is to provide information about using alternatives to the vitamin pills. There are several reasons for spending money on vitamin pills one of them is hectic schedule, while providing correct information a about healthy diet can play an important role in addressing this issue.
Basically, consuming pills has become a part of the daily routine for most of people, nevertheless some people still continue with the old pattern of healthy diet. This is largely because of the busy schedule of work, commuting and party time. Whereas following a healthy diet is not considered as part of this routine. When an individual has reached to a certain age and their body requires some attention, they assume spending on the vitamin pills is a smarter option than improving their diet. Another factor is that due to an individual's religious beliefs that restrict their diet and they are sometimes naturally forced to consume pills. For example, a vegan person avoids eating any animal derived products such as dairy, eggs and meat. As a result, a person is limited to the choice to provide such vitamins to their body which are available through these products ending up taking vitamin pills.
There are several ways in which people could be persuaded to improve their diet avoiding taking pills. One practical approach would be to spend time for creating healthy diet routine for every month and strictly following it. Furthermore, The diet should contain enough vitamins that are eqvivalent to taking pills. This would help because overall expense shifts from buying pills to managing diet requirements. This could be particulary effective when an individual brings attention towards healthy eating. For instance, a breakfast meal should be rich with vitamins, later followed by lunch and fruits and should be followed throughout the day.
Overall, although spending money on pills are unavoidable for people with religious beliefs, others still can look for althernatives to pills and change their diet to a helathy diet. Public awareness to maintain montly diet could be an upper hand for people instead taking pills.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The student addresses all parts of the prompt, exploring why people spend money on vitamin pills (such as busy schedules and dietary restrictions like veganism) and suggesting methods for persuasion (such as meal planning and public awareness). However, some ideas are underdeveloped or repetitive, and the position is not always clearly sustained throughout. For example, the introduction states that providing information about healthy diets plays an important role, but this point lacks full elaboration in the body paragraphs. While the main parts of the task are covered, the depth of extension places this response comfortably at Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response is organised into paragraphs, providing a coherent overall arrangement. The student attempts to use cohesive devices and transitions, such as 'Furthermore', 'For instance', and 'Overall'. However, referencing and transitions are at times mechanical or slightly clumsy, as seen in sentences like 'There are several reasons for spending money on vitamin pills one of them is hectic schedule, while providing correct information a about healthy diet can play an important role'. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion within sentences occasionally lacks fluidity, reflecting the characteristics of a Band 6.0 performance.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating terms such as 'hectic schedule', 'religious beliefs', and 'public awareness'. There are, however, several lexical errors, spelling mistakes, and awkward collocations throughout the essay, including 'money expenditure', 'althernatives', 'montly diet', and 'eqvivalent'. These errors do not impede overall communication, but they restrict the lexical score to Band 6.0, as the student attempts less common vocabulary with noticeable inaccuracies.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
A mix of simple and complex sentence structures is attempted, such as 'When an individual has reached to a certain age and their body requires some attention, they assume spending on the vitamin pills is a smarter option...'. However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, including missing articles ('a busy schedule of work'), incorrect prepositions ('reached to a certain age'), and agreement slips ('spending money on pills are unavoidable'). These errors occur regularly, though they rarely impede overall communication, fitting the Band 6.0 descriptor well.
