Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is explain by Doctors that individuals can easily obtain the required vitamins and minerals through healthy and eating balanced diet habits. Although this guidance, few individuals use a huge amount of money on vitamin tablets. I believe there are several reasons for which people pay lots of money on vitamin medications. There are some few measures that help to aware people to eat healthly rather than taking vitamin supplements.

There are several reasons the foremost one I shall put forward is that excessive use of google and websites like chat GPT. For instance individuals asking their doubts about health to the chat GPT and follow the same they read on the sites. Secondly, hectic and stressful life. By this I mean that every human being follows hectic life in their daily routine and do not get enough time to eat healthy and proper meal, So to compensate food requirements they started taking vitamin supplements.

To reduce intake of vitamin medications there are several measures that could be helpful. Firstly, increase awareness through media platforms

on benefits of healthy eating as well as also aware of people about side effects of excessive vitamin supplements. Secondly, without doctors prescription, pharmacist should not sell any vitamin tablets tablets. Lastly, government should reduce cost of healthy

vegetable and fruits. Therefore, everyone can

obtain these easily. By following this steps it is possible to reduce excessive consumption of vitamin pills and increase dietary intake.

All in all, it can be said that use of google and following hectic schedule are the major reasons that individuals take vitamin supplements continuously.

However, to reduce the consumption of vitamin supplements, social media play major role to aware people and encourage to eat healthy foods as

well as, higher authorities also help in reducing cost of healthy vegetable that everyone get it easily.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both the reasons why people spend money on vitamin pills and how they might be persuaded to improve their diet instead. However, the ideas are presented in a somewhat limited and under-developed manner. For instance, the point regarding online search tools like ChatGPT is introduced, but its explanation remains brief and lacks deep elaboration. The position is generally clear throughout the essay, but the lack of fully extended supporting arguments keeps the task response limited. To move to a higher level, the writer needs to expand on each main point with more detailed explanations, specific examples, and deeper analysis rather than relying on brief general statements.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation evident in the text, with clear paragraph divisions addressing the introduction, reasons, solutions, and conclusion. However, there is no clear overall progression as the ideas feel disjointed in places. Cohesive devices are used, but they tend to be mechanical and repetitive, such as the frequent reliance on transitional phrases like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Lastly'. Additionally, referencing and logical links between sentences occasionally falter, leading to choppy transitions. For instance, the transition from discussing online health advice to hectic lifestyles feels abrupt. To achieve a stronger level of coherence, the writer should use a wider variety of more natural cohesive ties and ensure that ideas flow smoothly from one sentence and paragraph to the next with clear logical connections.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey the basic message of the essay. There are noticeable errors in word choice and word formation that stem from awkward phrasing, such as 'eating balanced diet habits', 'aware people', and 'cost of healthy vegetable and fruits'. Attempts to use less common vocabulary sometimes result in unnatural collocations or inaccuracies that may cause slight strain for the reader. Spelling is generally acceptable, but lexical control lacks precision and flexibility. To improve this score, the writer must expand their working vocabulary, learn correct word partnerships and collocations, and pay closer attention to parts of speech to ensure precise and natural expression.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The text displays a limited range of grammatical structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside some attempts at complex forms. However, attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to noticeable structural errors. There are frequent errors in verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, articles, and prepositions inside grammatical patterns, such as 'It is explain by Doctors', 'few individuals use a huge amount of money', and 'By following this steps'. These frequent errors can occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. To progress, the writer needs to incorporate a wider variety of complex sentence structures and improve grammatical accuracy by carefully proofreading for basic agreement, article usage, and verb tense consistency.
