Student answer (Band 6.0)

Doctors suggest that healthy diet can provide all the required vitamins needed by our body. Instead of following this advice, some individuals still prefer to spend a large amount of money on nutrient pills. This is because it is time saving trick in this busy world. Inspite of purchasing vit tablets people can make proper diet schedule and prepare on weekends.

Nowadays, people are spending money on nutritional supplements because they do not have time to consume a healthy food. To explain it, due to long working hours, instead of spending several hours in preparing meals for themselves and family, they prefer to buy food from restaurants or have a frozen products, which are not considered healthy. So, nutritions deficiency is fulfilled by short cuts. For instance, in developed countries, numerous supplements are sold every year from pharmacies.

Time management is a key to cope with this problem. Making appropriate schedule and preparation of fruits and vegetable on weekend can be helpful in organizing all workload during weekdays. Moreover, choosing health first and having every meal regularly at same time without skipping will make a great difference in healthy journey. For example, on social media, we can see frequently health conscious people use to prepare meals in their free time, that assist them to stay fit and healthy in long run.

In conculsion, hectic lifestyle forces the masses to consume dietary supplements, and it is clear that this issue requires careful consideration of time management in order to achieve long-term benefits.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: you explain that busy schedules and long working hours lead people to rely on supplements, and you suggest meal planning and regular eating as alternatives. The explanation of why people buy pills is relevant, but the point that supplements are widely sold in developed countries does not show clearly why individuals choose to spend money on them. Your proposed solutions are also more fully described as personal habits than as ways to persuade people; for example, you could explain how doctors, schools, or public campaigns might encourage healthier eating. The response therefore covers the task, but some ideas need clearer development and support.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining the cause, a paragraph offering solutions, and a conclusion. The progression from time pressure to meal preparation is easy to follow, and linking phrases such as “For instance” and “Moreover” help signal examples and additions. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some flexibility in connecting ideas. However, a few links are unclear or mechanical: the opening moves abruptly from the reason people buy pills to advice about weekend preparation, and “So, nutritions deficiency is fulfilled by short cuts” does not connect the preceding point precisely. Make each paragraph’s purpose more distinct and use references that clearly identify the idea being discussed.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “nutritional supplements,” “long working hours,” “frozen products,” and “time management.” These choices make the main argument clear, and phrases such as “hectic lifestyle” and “long-term benefits” show an attempt to use less common language. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, however, including “time saving trick,” “nutritions deficiency,” and “healthy journey.” There are also spelling errors such as “Inspite” and “conculsion.” These do not prevent understanding, but they reduce precision. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling, especially in key topic terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause in “because they do not have time” and a longer sentence beginning “For example, on social media…”. Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur. Articles and plurals need attention in phrases such as “healthy diet,” “a frozen products,” and “on weekend”; subject–verb agreement is also incorrect in “people… use to prepare.” The final example sentence is difficult to control because several clauses are joined together, and the comma before “that assist” does not clearly separate the ideas. Practise checking articles, singular/plural forms, and clause boundaries while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
