Student answer (Band 6.0)
Considering the fact that a healthy diet can provide the minerals and vitamins which body requires; however, some people spend a lot of money on expensive vitamin pills. I personally think that not all minerals and vitamins can be attained by a healthy diet as there are various other factors that should not be neglected. Therefore, a combined approach would be more suitable option for long-term results.
On the one hand, one of the main reasons of people buying vitamins is the weather conditions in different regions of the world because of their geograohical location. Arctic and Polar regions are the coldest in the world characterized by late sunrises. Aa a result, they have significantly reduced daylight hours. That directly affects their vitamin D levels; thus, people suffer with life-threatening skin diseases and various health problems. Individuals have no other choice rather than buying expensive vitamin teblets. Another reason is, adapting a healthy lifestyle is very costly nowadays. Fruits, green vegetables and legumes prices are increasing day by day people end up buying cheap and easily accessible food items. Consequetly, individuals need to purchase vitamin pills in order to maintain their health.
On the other hand, There are many ways to make people chose healthy diet rather than taking supplements. Firstly, Government should spread awareness about importance of healthy diet by promoting healthy products in affordable price. Additionally, Higher authority should reduce price on fruits and vegetables that will motivate families to buy healthy alternatives. This was we can encourage individuals to neglect the usage of supplemets and make changes in their diets.
To recapitulate, Although there are various ways to adapt a healthy diet which can help to maintain good vitamin levels, people who reside in certain regions do not have such choices.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and give a clear overall view: you suggest that regional conditions and the cost of healthy food lead people to buy supplements, then propose awareness campaigns and more affordable produce. The examples about limited daylight and rising food prices are relevant. However, the first reason is developed more fully than the second, and the claim that people in polar regions have “no other choice” is too absolute without further support. The final paragraph also mainly restates the issue rather than drawing together your proposed solutions. To strengthen the response, explain more precisely how each cause leads to supplement purchases and how your suggested measures would change people’s choices.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and solutions, and a concluding paragraph. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To recapitulate” make the broad progression easy to follow. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Consequetly” introduces a result, but the connection between food prices and the need for pills would benefit from fuller explanation. The sentence beginning “Fruits, green vegetables and legumes prices are increasing day by day” also runs ideas together, weakening the flow. Keep each paragraph focused, use clearer sentence boundaries, and make references such as “This” in “This was we can encourage” unambiguous.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of topic vocabulary, including “daylight hours,” “vitamin D levels,” “legumes,” “supplements,” and “affordable,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “a combined approach” and “maintain their health.” However, several word-choice and collocation problems reduce precision: “suffer with life-threatening skin diseases,” “adapting a healthy lifestyle,” and “reduce price on fruits” are not natural combinations. Spelling errors such as “geograohical,” “teblets,” “Consequetly,” and “supplemets” are noticeable. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and proofread carefully, especially for frequently used topic words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including a conditional-style explanation and clauses linked with “because,” “as,” and “although.” Most of the meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. The opening uses a semicolon followed by “however” in a way that leaves the sentence structure incomplete, and “which body requires” needs a possessive determiner. There are also agreement and article problems in phrases such as “Fruits, green vegetables and legumes prices” and “more suitable option.” Capitalisation is inconsistent, as in “There” and “Government” after sentence transitions. Work on complete sentence construction, articles, possessives, and agreement while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
