Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, everybody is trying to have a healthy lifestyle either by adding healthy meals in their diet plan or spending money on the artificial products such as vitamin pills and protien bars. However, according to doctors, having a healthy diet is enough to fulfil our vitamin needs, but instead of that people are spending money on vitamin pills.
The first and main reason of buying suppliments is the time shortage. To expalin, people are getting so busy in their daily busy schedule and forgot the importance of their healthy lifestyle. Therefore, they do not have enough time to make healthy meals at home, which can fulfil their daily needs of the esential vitamins. Furthermore, a lot of time is spending on social media by youngsters and they are influenced easily by their role models that homemade meals are not enough to make your body. Unfortunatly, they start to buy artificial suppliments to grow their body muscle in a short time period, but they do not know that it could be harmfull for their body in various ways.
On the other hand, people should make a healthy balance between diet and work, as individuals can start to spend some quality of time to make some healthy meals which may not only help to fulfil their daily vitamin requirement, but also to feel energetic for whole day, instaed of buying vitamin pills from outside. Moreover, parents should keep an eye on their child that they are following good content on the social media about suppliments and always explain the importance of the home made helthy food. Hence, they my not blindy trust on the vitamin capsules or other products.
To sum up, everyone should give a same importance to their healthy meals as they give to their daily work in order to stop buying products to fulfil their vitamin requirements.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a relevant focus. The explanation that people lack time to prepare healthy meals is clear, and you add a second reason: young people may be influenced by social-media role models. You also suggest practical responses, including making time for meals and parents guiding children’s online choices. However, the reasons and solutions are not developed equally: the social-media influence is asserted rather than illustrated, and the advice about balancing diet and work could be made more specific. The claim that supplements are bought to build muscle also shifts slightly from the question’s focus on vitamin pills. Explain how each reason leads to spending and support your suggestions with a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph explaining reasons, a paragraph proposing solutions, and a conclusion. This makes the progression easy to follow, and signposts such as “Furthermore,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” help identify the stages of the argument. The ideas within paragraphs are generally connected, but some links are mechanical or imprecise. For example, “On the other hand” suggests a contrast, although the paragraph mainly presents solutions, and “Therefore” does not clearly show how being busy leads to forgetting a healthy lifestyle. The reference to “they” in the sentence about parents and children is also unclear. Use transitions that express the exact relationship and make references explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “vitamin needs,” “daily schedule,” “role models,” “vitamin requirement,” and “energetic.” These choices allow you to discuss causes and solutions, and some topic-specific language is attempted. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “protien,” “suppliments,” “esential,” and “harmfull.” Several phrases are also unnatural or imprecise: “a lot of time is spending on social media,” “make your body,” and “some quality of time.” Repetition of “healthy,” “vitamin,” and “buying” limits flexibility. Check spelling carefully, learn common collocations as complete phrases, and choose precise wording—for example, distinguish taking supplements from using products to build muscle.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “which,” “that,” and “as,” and the main ideas are generally understandable. Some sentences are controlled, such as “To sum up, everyone should give a same importance to their healthy meals as they give to their daily work.” However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction remain. For example, “people are getting so busy … and forgot” shifts tense, while “a lot of time is spending” uses an incorrect passive form. In “parents should keep an eye on their child that they are following,” the clause structure is faulty. Review tense consistency, subject–verb agreement, and how to form clauses after verbs such as “ensure” or “check.”
