Student answer (Band 5.0)
Vitamins are really important for our bodies. There are different types of vitamins. There are a lot of vitamins pills available in the market. They are introduced by different brands. Fortunately, it is possible to take them organically. Doctors advised us that we can get vitamins from having a healthy diet but some people continue to spend large sums of money on vitamin pills.
There are multiple reasons behind taking pills and ignoring healthy diet. Mainly, most of the people are busy in their daily schedules. They do not find time to eat a proper meal. So, they feel dizzy and tired beacuse of vitamins deficiency . In these cases people prefer to take vitamin pillls so they can feel strong and active. Secondly, people prefer junk food over healthy diet. Junk food is actually unhealthy from all prespective beside lack of vitamins. People think pills work more effectively instead of diet. Moreover, it is easy to take pills rather than eating a healthy diet. For example, I did not take healthy diet during my postpartum which creates a lot of health problems for me. Later on, I took multi-vitamins pills to recover deficiency as soon as possible.
Doctors advise their patients to take healthy diets only. They should only prescribe vitamins pills if it is emergency. Government should arrange some sessions about health awareness. Healthy diet has no disadvantages but there can be chances of side effects from pills. People should eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Health is wealth.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions: you suggest that busy schedules and preference for junk food lead people to buy pills, and you recommend health-awareness sessions, medical advice, and eating fresh produce. The postpartum example adds relevant personal support. However, several points are asserted rather than explained—for instance, why people believe pills work more effectively, or how awareness sessions would change their choices—so the response remains limited and under-developed. Your position is present but the recommendations could be more directly connected to the causes discussed. The response contains 237 words, which is 13 words below the required minimum; 12 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop one or two ideas further while meeting the minimum length.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining reasons, and a final paragraph offering solutions. Sequencing words such as “Mainly,” “Secondly,” and “Moreover” help signal the points. However, progression within and between ideas is sometimes unclear or mechanical. For example, the move from being busy to feeling tired, then to preferring pills, needs clearer explanation, and “Doctors advise their patients…” begins the solutions paragraph without a strong link to the preceding personal example. Some sentences repeat the same general point about pills and diet. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each proposed solution explicitly to a reason already discussed.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “healthy diet,” “vitamin deficiency,” “side effects,” and “health awareness.” There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “postpartum” and “multi-vitamins.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, which can make the meaning less clear: “vitamins pills,” “from all prespective,” and “take them organically” are examples. Spelling errors such as “beacuse” and “pillls” are noticeable. Aim for more precise phrases and check spelling and word forms; this will make your explanations clearer and less repetitive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use mostly straightforward sentence patterns and attempt some longer structures, including “They do not find time to eat a proper meal” and the sentence beginning “For example, I did not take…”. Meaning is generally understandable, but errors recur in sentence boundaries, articles, plurals, and verb forms. For example, “There are different types of vitamins. There are…” needs a space or a clearer sentence break, while “which creates a lot of health problems” does not agree in tense with the past account. “Doctors advised us” also shifts from the present general advice in the prompt. Practise combining related ideas accurately and check agreement, tense consistency, and punctuation before submitting.
