Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both questions: you suggest that people lack time to prepare healthy food and may doubt the freshness of fruit and vegetables, then propose that teachers educate children about food choices. These are relevant starting points, but the response only partially develops the task. The reasons are stated rather than explained in detail, and the solution focuses narrowly on schools without explaining how adults could be persuaded or what practical steps might help. The opening also spends space on general statements about healthy living instead of establishing a clear, direct response. The response is 34 words below the required minimum, which limits the opportunity to explain and support your ideas. Develop each point with a cause, consequence, or relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: an introduction is followed by a paragraph about reasons and a final paragraph offering a solution. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “However” help signal the movement between points. However, progression is limited because the final paragraph contains only one brief solution, and the relationship between some ideas is unclear. For example, “However” suggests a contrast, but the paragraph does not clearly contrast the reasons with the proposed solution. Several sentences run together, and repeated references to vitamin pills and healthy food make the links feel mechanical. Use separate, clearly developed paragraphs for each question, and connect ideas with precise references such as “This lack of time” or “To address this problem.”
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “hectic schedule,” “healthy diet,” “vitamin pills,” and “proper vitamins.” This gives the reader a basic sense of your ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices, collocations, and spellings make parts difficult to understand, such as “they get vitamin proper” and “they really on it.” Repetition of “people,” “healthy,” and “vitamin” also reduces variety. Aim to use accurate topic-specific phrases and check spelling carefully; for instance, “vegetables and fruits” could be expressed more naturally as “fruit and vegetables,” and “spend money on vitamin pill” needs a more accurate plural phrase. Greater precision would make your reasons and recommendations clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because of their hectic schedule” and a conditional idea about schools guiding children. However, control is inconsistent, and errors frequently make the reader work to understand the message. Examples include “Healthy life is more important part,” “people spend money on vitamin pills have some reasons,” and “if school university guide to children then they get aware.” These show problems with articles, sentence structure, agreement, and verb forms. Capitalisation and punctuation also need attention, particularly after sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clear clauses using “because,” “if,” and “so.” Check each sentence for a complete subject and verb.
