Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this prevailing era, healthy diet plays an important role in everyone's life. Therefore, doctors suggest that people ought to have a healthy diet which complete all the vitamins that human body needs, instead of this some individuals are start spending more money on vitamin pills. There are plethora of reasons behind this trend. I will also suggest some solutions to encourage the masses to eat healthy diet rather than vitamin pills.
Commencing with most salient reason is that people think that medicine works more qucikly rather than healthy diet. They are either watching to many advertisement or promotion through social media by eating vitamin pills they will get quick relief from their problems. They also think that medicine work more faster than food. Therefore, they start using pills regardless healthy cooked meal. As a result, they spend a lot of money on it without thinking either right choice or not. Moreover, in the modern era, masses do not have enough time to cook traditional meals at home because they already feel tired after long working hours at office or school. Hence, they easy method to become healthy, they start using vitamin pills so that they can complete their proteins, minierals, vitamins and so on.
Despite the myraid of reasons behind this trend, I will suggest some solution to solve this problem. First and foremost, Government should encourage the masses to eat healthy diet or cooked food with the help of media, doctors and organize health seminars so that people can know that side effects consuming to much vitamin pills put adverse effects on their health. Government should also reduce the price of healthy items such as, fruits, dry fruits and meat so that people can purchase at reasonable price. Furtheremore, Authorites ought to put tax on vitamin pills so that people can avoid to use those medicine. They should also mandantory doctor's written reports for buying vitamin pills if the individuals really need it.
In conclusion, even though vitamin pills are good for health, I believe usage of large amount is not good because a healthy diet can complete all the sources of vitamins which human body needs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both questions and maintain a clear overall view: people choose pills for perceived speed and convenience, while public information, affordable healthy food and tighter controls are proposed as solutions. These are relevant reasons and practical responses. The explanation of advertising and long working hours gives some support, but the ideas are not equally developed: for example, the claim that pills provide “quick relief” would be stronger with a specific example or explanation of why people trust this message. The proposed tax and requirement for a doctor’s report are also listed without discussing possible drawbacks or how they would work. More precise development of these points would make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining reasons, a paragraph proposing solutions, and a conclusion. Sequencing is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “As a result,” and “In conclusion” help show relationships between ideas. However, some linking is mechanical or unclear. For instance, “Despite the myriad of reasons” does not clearly connect the reasons to the solutions, and “Hence, they easy method to become healthy” makes the relationship difficult to follow. The introduction also previews the response in a formulaic way. Use transitions that express the exact relationship between ideas, and make references such as “they” unambiguous, to create smoother progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for the topic, including terms such as “vitamin pills,” “advertisement,” “side effects,” “reasonable price,” and “health seminars.” There are also attempts at more formal vocabulary, such as “salient” and “adverse effects,” showing some ambition. However, several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, including “complete their proteins,” “quick relief” for the effects of supplements, and “put tax on vitamin pills.” Spelling errors such as “qucikly,” “minierals,” “myraid,” and “Furtheremore” also reduce accuracy. These issues do not prevent the main message from being understood, but more reliable collocations and careful proofreading would improve precision and control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, using clauses with “because,” “so that,” and “even though,” as well as cause-and-effect structures. This gives the response some variety, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make sentences difficult to interpret. Examples include “people ought to have a healthy diet which complete all the vitamins,” “some individuals are start spending,” and “Hence, they easy method to become healthy.” These show problems with verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction. Articles and punctuation also need attention, as in “healthy diet” and the run-together “life.Therefore.” Practise building accurate sentences first, then extend them with subordinate clauses; check that each clause has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
