There are several advantage of spending a lot of money on vitamin pills rather than to improve diet, the one advantage is if you eat a lot and you do not have time to exercise the vitamin pill will help you to not become fat. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions: you suggest that pills may seem convenient and describe ways to encourage healthier eating, such as motivation, meal preparation and exercise. The personal example about your colleague also gives the response some relevant support. However, the explanation of why people spend large sums is limited: the claims that pills help someone avoid becoming fat, sleep better and digest food are not clearly connected to why people choose to spend money on them, and some may be medically questionable. The second part is more developed, but it mainly gives advice rather than explaining how people could be persuaded. Make your position clearer and develop a few credible reasons and practical persuasion methods with specific explanations.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from reasons for buying pills to advice about improving diet, and words such as “However” and “And also” signal some relationships between ideas. This gives the reader a general sense of the two parts of the answer. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and several points are repeated: motivation, exercise and avoiding pills recur without being organised into a developing argument. Some links are also inaccurate or awkward, such as “However some of them prepare to improve their diet,” which does not clearly contrast with the previous paragraph. Group related ideas, use topic sentences to guide each paragraph, and make references and transitions precise rather than relying repeatedly on “And also.”
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small set of relevant words and phrases, including “vitamin pills,” “healthy food,” “motivated” and “balance your diet,” so the main topic is generally understandable. However, vocabulary is limited and repetitive, particularly in the repeated references to motivation, diet and pills. Several word choices or combinations are inaccurate and can make meaning difficult to follow, such as “prepare to improve their diet,” “help you to not become fat” and “preparation is a key to success to you diet.” Spelling errors such as “insted,” “vegtables” and “instend” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise range for explaining convenience, perceived benefits and practical incentives, and check spelling and natural word combinations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer clauses, for example, “if you eat a lot and you do not have time to exercise,” and the overall meaning can usually be recovered. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction. Examples include “There are several advantage,” “the vitamin pill will helps,” and “she sleep better every time take a vitamin pill.” Some sentences are incomplete or lack a clear grammatical subject, as in “And also need to exercise.” These patterns sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete sentence structures before adding more complex clauses, and check punctuation between connected ideas.
