Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest that social-media advertising and the appeal of shortcuts encourage purchases, and recommend getting personalised dietary advice. These are relevant starting points, but the explanations remain limited, which fits this level. For example, the advertising example explains how people may be persuaded to buy supplements, but does not explore other reasons such as convenience, health concerns, or distrust of dietary advice. The proposed solution also focuses mainly on consulting a trainer or diet expert; explain more clearly how this would help people change their everyday eating habits. The company example is difficult to assess and does not clearly demonstrate that a healthy diet is preferable. Develop each main idea with a clear explanation and a specific, credible example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Nevertheless,” and “To conclude” make the intended structure visible. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and linking phrases can feel mechanical. In the first body paragraph, the move from social-media advertisements to people buying different products and then to “wasteage of money” needs a clearer explanation of how these points connect. The second body paragraph is especially difficult to follow: the diet-plan example is incomplete, and “Mor” interrupts the paragraph before the conclusion. Use topic sentences that directly answer each question, connect examples explicitly to the main point, and ensure each paragraph is complete.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “nutritious diet,” “vitamin tablets,” “multivitamin,” and “key nutrients,” so the reader can generally identify the subject and your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make the writing less clear or natural. Examples include “suppliments,” “eleborate,” “nutritions,” and “wasteage”; “spend large sum of money” also needs a more natural expression. Some phrases, such as “healthcare representatives,” do not clearly convey the intended meaning. Build a bank of accurate health and nutrition vocabulary, check spelling carefully, and learn common combinations such as “follow a balanced diet” and “buy dietary supplements.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause with “because” and a conditional-style advertising example. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, and articles occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For instance, “number of youngsters are following” needs an article and a singular verb, while “if you want to getting” has an incorrect verb pattern. The sentence beginning “a company nutriworld diet experts they selling” lacks a clear grammatical structure, and “these three elements plays” has subject–verb disagreement. Practise building accurate sentences first, then add subordinate clauses; proofread specifically for articles, verb forms, and agreement.
