Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is widely observed that, many individuals spend a huge amount on various types of vitamin medications.Despite the fact, said by the doctors that we should consume a healthy diet which can be a rich in vitamins.

Firstly,as per my perspective, people does not get enough time in this fast pace life to prepare such quality meals. However, without compromising health needs they like to purchase vitamins.Buying and consuming them could be easy and convinient. There was a rearch about "Whether to get a nutrition from a diet or supplements?" published recently , where they found that in order to get equal amount of vitamins from supplements, you need to consume a very large portion and a balanced meal. In this case, some days it might be difficult to recieve vitamins from our meals and we are left with none.

However, this situation can be solved by only one way. Every individual should have their own dietician who can help setting up daily nutrition requirements and meal plans ahead of time. They can create atleast one week in advance so it can be easy to prepare them.Other than that, we recieve some vitamins in our day to day life naturally like Vitamin D from the Sun. People should go out during sunny days and try to get it. Being reliable on medications can impact overall health needs and may also decrease appetite, that could be more dangerous.

Overall, I believe that preparing a balanced diet or vitamin rich meals can be a difficult job but this is the best way to stay healthy rather than relying on supplements.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both questions and maintain a clear overall view: people choose supplements for convenience, while better planning and dietary guidance could encourage healthier eating. The explanation that busy people may struggle to prepare balanced meals is relevant, and the reference to obtaining vitamin D from sunlight adds a related point. However, some ideas are not fully developed or are unclear. The claim that supplements are easy to buy and consume could be supported with a more specific example, and the research reference is difficult to interpret because its finding is not explained clearly. The proposed solution of giving everyone a dietician is also rather broad and may be impractical. Explain how accessible advice, meal-planning support, or public information could change people’s choices.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining why people buy supplements, a paragraph proposing alternatives, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “Firstly,” “However,” and “Overall” help signal the stages of the argument. At times, though, the progression is mechanical or the relationship between ideas is unclear. For example, “However, this situation can be solved by only one way” introduces a single solution, but the paragraph then gives several different suggestions, including dieticians and sunlight. The research sentence is also long and difficult to follow. Use clearer links between each reason and its explanation, and make pronouns such as “they” refer unmistakably to people, dieticians, or meals.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “balanced meal,” “daily nutrition requirements,” “meal plans,” and “relying on supplements.” These choices make the main ideas understandable, and you attempt more specific language when discussing vitamins and diet. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, however, such as “vitamin medications,” “fast pace life,” and “Being reliable on medications.” There are also spelling errors, including “convinient,” “rearch,” “recieve,” and “atleast,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural topic-specific phrasing, such as “vitamin supplements,” “busy lifestyle,” and “relying on supplements.” Proofreading spelling and checking whether words fit their context would make your vocabulary more precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if it can be easy to prepare them” and a relative clause in “who can help setting up daily nutrition requirements.” The overall meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “many individuals spend” should not be separated by a comma after “observed,” “people does not get” has subject–verb disagreement, and “a healthy diet which can be a rich in vitamins” has an incorrect article and structure. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: “medications.Despite” and “meals.Other” run together, while the opening sentence is a fragment. Review agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, and revise complex sentences to ensure each clause is complete and correctly connected.
