Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the modern era, getting vitamins from a healthy deit versus spending large sum of money on vitamins pills plays a crucial role in shaping our daily lives and future development. It is very important issue for everyone in the worlds, especially for students and young youth In my opinion, people spend alot of money on pills.

To begin with, this is the main reason why some people spend alot of money on vitamins pillsand its lacks of health issue issue. For instance, an office worker in pakistan who eats fast food daily and has no cook take expensive vitamins. which is clrealy demonstatres how this practice lead positive outcom and successful results in real lif. because of this reason, people thin they can save their time and improve their overall quailty of life significantly. this is why i think this point is very important and valuable for everyone in our society.

On the other hand, some people argue that vitamibs are very beneficial for our lifee and quick while improving deit. they believe that it can create problems for people in the beginning. However, people can be easily find to improve their deit through the public education. For example if doctors give simple meal plans and governments educates people very well. I firmly believe that the benefits are much more that the problems, this is why this point is very important and valuable.

In conclusion, I believe that spending on vimtamins pills and improving deits is the better solution. Consequently, focusing on this aspect will bring long-term benfits to everyone and will make our future better and brighter.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You make an attempt to address both questions: you suggest that people choose pills for convenience and lack of time, and you mention public education and doctors providing meal plans as ways to encourage healthier eating. However, the response only partially develops these points. The example of an office worker is relevant, but the explanation that pills “improve their overall quality of life” is asserted rather than clearly supported. The second question also needs a more direct, detailed answer: explain how meal plans or public education would change people’s choices, perhaps by showing that healthy meals can be convenient and affordable. Your position is difficult to identify in the introduction and conclusion, where pills and diet are discussed without a clear statement of which approach you support.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and phrases such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” signal stages of the response. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. The first body paragraph begins with an unclear claim about “lacks of health issue,” then moves to convenience and quality of life without explaining the links. The second paragraph’s contrast is also confusing: it says vitamins are beneficial and quick, then shifts to improving diet through education. Repeated statements such as “this point is very important and valuable” do not advance the argument. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “vitamins,” “public education,” “meal plans” and “overall quality of life,” so the reader can recognise the general subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make parts difficult to understand, such as “vitamins pills,” “lacks of health issue” and “improving deits.” There are also repeated general phrases, including “very important and valuable” and “better and brighter,” where more precise wording would strengthen the argument. Aim to use accurate collocations and topic-specific language, for example, “rely on supplements for convenience” or “promote balanced meals.” Proofreading spelling and word forms would also make your meaning clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if doctors give simple meal plans,” and you use linking clauses such as “because of this reason.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand the meaning. For example, “people can be easily find to improve their diet” has an incorrect verb construction, while “governments educates people” has subject–verb disagreement. Sentence boundaries and capitalisation are also inconsistent: “vitamins. which” and “life. because” should not be separated in this way. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles and punctuation before submitting.
