Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowdays to maintain a healthy diet and make your body free form the illness is very important. According to the doctors we can get all the vitamins we need form having a healthy diet. But still some people continue to spend large sums of money on vitamin pills. Which I will talk about for both in the upcoming pargraphs.

To begin with, some people sepnd a lot of money on vitamin pills. The one main reason for that could be their hectict schedule. People who are busy with their work may not have time to prepare or follow a helathy diet for themselves. Apart from that, most of the people nowdays are havely rely on the package or frozen foods, because it is vey easy to cook without doing any hardwork and even not time consuming. So, they have to consume the vitamin pills to keep themselves healthy and have a spend large sums of money.

Furhtermore, the solution is that people need to maintain a line in between their personal and professional life. So they can go home from thier work on time and can take care of their body and health. With this, office manager or owner have to take some discissons in favour of their employees. For example, they have to give them at least one meal in office like, fresh fruits or juice. So the employees can feel fresh and it will also help them to work with more focused and they can finish their work on time.

In conclusion, it is very important to take helathy meal and have some rest. People need to maintain a healthy diet otherwise they will spend most of their money on vitamin pills or doctors .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: you suggest that busy schedules and reliance on packaged or frozen food lead people to buy supplements, and you propose better work-life balance and workplace meals as ways to encourage healthier eating. These ideas are relevant, but the explanation is only partly developed. For example, you say that people with hectic schedules “may not have time” to prepare healthy food, but do not explain why pills seem like an attractive substitute or why people spend large sums on them. The workplace fruit or juice example is useful, though its effect on changing people’s diets could be made clearer. The opening and conclusion repeat the general importance of healthy eating rather than strengthening your explanation. The 20 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the reasons and solutions, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of your answer. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and linking phrases can feel mechanical. For instance, “To begin with” introduces the first reason, while “Furthermore” introduces the solution paragraph, but the relationship between the ideas that follow is not always made explicit. The sentence beginning “Which I will talk about” is an incomplete continuation and interrupts the introduction. Some references, such as “With this,” are vague, so the reader must infer what they refer to. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “vitamin pills,” “healthy diet,” “frozen foods,” and “professional life,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors or inaccurate word choices make the writing less clear, such as “Nowdays,” “hectict schedule,” “havely rely,” and “discissons.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “make your body free form the illness” and “maintain a line in between” personal and professional life. Aim to learn accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for convenience, nutrition, and supplement use would help you explain your ideas with greater clarity and variety.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the response is usually understandable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly when you join clauses or use verb forms. “Which I will talk about for both” is a sentence fragment, while “most of the people nowadays are heavily rely” combines incompatible verb structures. In “they have to consume the vitamin pills … and have a spend large sums,” the verb pattern is also faulty. Articles and agreement need attention too: “office manager or owner have to take” should use a plural subject or a singular verb, and “give them at least one meal in office” needs more accurate article use. Practise building complete sentences and checking subject–verb agreement and verb patterns before adding extra clauses.
