Student answer (Band 6.0)
Doctors says that people can get all nutritions and vitamins from the healthy diet, while there are many people who avoide this advice and continue to buy vitamin pills by spending huge amount of money. This essay will discuss why people do this and how they can improve their diet with the help of internet and exercise.
On the one hand, the significant reason why people buy vitamin pills is hectic schedule. These days, there are many people who are busy in their work and they do not have enough time to prepare their healthy meals. Hence, they spend lot of money on vitamin tablets for complete their nutritions. Moreover, fast food is the another reason of this problem. Nowadays, many people eat fast food instead of good meals which have proper nutrition values. consequently, they get the problem of vitimins deficiency and they are required to buy vitamin pills.
On the other hand, Individuals can improve their diet with the help of online platforms such as You Tube, Instagram and Facebook, These platforms not only provide the information how to prepare meals in fewer time but also encourage the people for eating healthy, because there are number of motivational videos which encourage the individuals for eating healthy food instead of fast food.Furthermore, if people are doing workout, they can not only avoide to eat unhealthy food but they can also try to prepare healthy meals for themselves. As a result, they can get the habit of eat nutritional food instead of vitamin tablets.
In conclusion, although people spend their lot of money on vitamin pills because of their hectic routine and habit of eating unhealthy food, they can overcome this problem by doing exercise and with the help of online resourses.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses both questions and gives relevant reasons: a hectic schedule and reliance on fast food are offered as explanations for buying supplements, while online resources and exercise are suggested as ways to encourage healthier eating. The position is clear, and the conclusion restates the main points. However, some ideas are less fully developed than others. For example, the claim that exercise helps people avoid unhealthy food is asserted rather than explained, and the essay does not show clearly how online information would persuade people to change their habits. Develop each point with a specific explanation or example, such as how meal-planning videos can make nutritious cooking seem quicker and more manageable.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two questions, and a conclusion. The progression from reasons for buying pills to possible solutions is easy to follow, and linking phrases such as “On the one hand,” “Moreover,” and “As a result” help signal relationships between ideas. This organisation is effective, though some connections feel mechanical, and the second body paragraph combines online platforms and exercise without a clear transition explaining how the two suggestions relate. Punctuation around “You Tube, Instagram and Facebook” also disrupts the flow. Use more precise links between claims and examples, and make sure each paragraph develops one main line of reasoning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response uses a relevant range of vocabulary, including “hectic schedule,” “vitamin deficiency,” “motivational videos,” and “nutritional food,” so the main ideas are generally clear. However, several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems limit precision: “complete their nutritions” is unnatural, “proper nutrition values” is awkward, and “vitimins” and “resourses” are misspelled. Some wording is also repetitive, particularly repeated references to “healthy food” and “vitamin pills.” Aim for more natural collocations and vary repeated terms—for example, use “meet their nutritional needs” and “nutrient-rich meals.” Proofreading spelling and choosing more precise expressions would make the argument easier to read.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
There is an attempt to use both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “while,” “because,” and “although.” Most sentences communicate the intended meaning, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “Doctors says” has subject–verb disagreement, “for complete their nutritions” uses an incorrect verb pattern, and “the habit of eat” needs a gerund form. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “fast food is the another reason” and the comma splice after “Facebook.” Review agreement, verb patterns, articles, and punctuation, then check each sentence for a complete and correctly joined structure. These changes would improve accuracy while preserving the range of sentence forms attempted.
