Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, many people spend a huge amount of money to purchase multivitamin tablets. Despite the Doctor's advice, they can obtain all the necessary vitamins from healthy meals. People buy this vitamin pills since they think, vegetables are not enough source of vitamins. However, if government could take initiatives to ban this additional pills and encourage people to switch to healthy life style. Then people would be persuaded to improve their diet naturally.
To begin with, usually people buy multivitamin tablets to improve their physical health. This trend is popular because, today many farmers use pesticides to improve their overall crop's quality. Therefore, public believe that vegetables alone are not good enough for their physical health and they buy additional supplements to nurish their body cells. For instance, in USA more than half of the citizens are taking multivitamin tablets and the overall gain from this business is more than 50%.
However, government can take steps to reduce these trend. The first step could be encourage people to improve their diet by arranging health awarness programs. The other step can be, by banning a multivitamin pills for regular use. For example, in China they have ban certain multivitamin drugs. As a n outcome, more people follow their regualr healthy eating diets.
To conclude, although suppliments are necessary and convenient for nurishment of physical cells. Therefore, citizens are buying a lot of expensive supplements. However, governments could lessen the purchase by arranging a health awarness programs. Similarly, if government could ban certain vitamin pills then people cannot buy it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a relevant position: people buy supplements because they doubt vegetables provide enough vitamins, while public education and restrictions are proposed as solutions. The explanation about pesticide use adds a reason, and the health-awareness programmes are a relevant way to encourage dietary change. However, several points need fuller development. For example, the claim that pesticides make vegetables inadequate is asserted rather than explained, and the proposed ban is not clearly reconciled with your conclusion that supplements can be necessary and convenient. The examples about the United States and China would be more persuasive if their relevance and details were explained. Develop the causes and assess how each proposed measure would change people’s behaviour more clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for reasons and solutions, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “To begin with,” “However,” and “To conclude” helps readers follow the main stages. Within paragraphs, though, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening moves from people’s beliefs about vegetables to a government ban without explaining the link, and “Therefore” in the conclusion does not clearly connect the preceding ideas. The final paragraph also repeats the proposed measures rather than drawing together the argument. Use more precise referencing and transitions, and make each paragraph progress from a clear main point to its explanation and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “multivitamin tablets,” “pesticides,” “supplements,” and “healthy eating diets,” so the subject is generally clear. There are also attempts at more formal expressions such as “take initiatives” and “health awareness programs.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive: “additional pills,” “overall gain from this business,” and “nurish their body cells” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “awarness,” “regualr,” and “suppliments” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural combinations—for example, describe supplement sales or revenue, and explain that people take supplements to meet perceived nutritional needs. Proofreading spelling and word forms would strengthen control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex forms, including a conditional proposal (“if government could take initiatives…”) and a reason-result structure (“Therefore, public believe…”). The meaning is usually recoverable, but sentence control is inconsistent, and several sentences contain errors in agreement, articles, or clause structure. For instance, “People buy this vitamin pills since they think, vegetables are not enough source” has problems with the demonstrative, punctuation, and article use. “The first step could be encourage” needs a grammatical verb form, while “if government could ban… then people cannot buy it” mixes conditional forms. The opening also creates a sentence fragment with “Then people would be persuaded.” Practise building accurate complex sentences and check agreement, articles, and punctuation.
