Student answer (Band 5.5)
Despite many phycisian suggests that we can acquare all the vitamins we need from having a proper healthy diet, many individuals still spends large amount of money on the supplements. This might be largely because of lack of proper knowledge regarding the food sources and also might be being influence by the fancy advertisement. Nevertheless, proper dietary education and knowing the negative affects of these supplements pills can persuade them to shift to eating a healthy diet rather than relying on the vitamin pills.
On one hand, many of us have have a busy lifestyle. Fast food and the processed food have gained its popularity as it is easily accesseble and have become easier source of meals. Living such a life style and trying to stay healthy have resulted them to spend a lot of money on vitamin pills. Firstly, because of its availability and another factor is convenience. For instance, many women tends to reash out for iron supplements for their insted of taking iron reah meals. One main reason is it is easy to intake and another is convenient.
On the other hand, proper education regarding food nutrition and its benefit can help persuade individuals to improve their food intake instead of buying vitamin pills. Having a detail labeling of the nutition on the food packaging with proper cooking instruction can help to attract the attention . For example, people have started to become more aware about what they eat. Some have switched to becoming vegan or looking for glutan free alternatives. They heavily relie on plant based products and organic vegetables to meet their required vitamins.
In all these debate, I personnally thing people have started reaching out for easy source of vitamins rather than relying on a healthy diet. It is mainly because of their lifestyle, affordability and easy asscessibility. This have also increased their dependency for the pills and have caused inproper intake of the vitamin pills.
Moreover, many doctors advice us that eating healthy and balance diet meal is all we need to get all the required vitamins for the body . Even so, desire of quickly geting healthy have resulted in opting for vitamin pills .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest that convenience and busy lifestyles encourage supplement use, and that nutrition education and clearer food information could promote healthier eating. Your position is generally apparent, especially in the opening and conclusion. However, the reasons and solutions are only partly developed. The example about women choosing iron supplements is relevant, but it needs clearer explanation, and the discussion of vegan and gluten-free choices does not directly show how people could be persuaded to replace pills with a balanced diet. The conclusion repeats earlier points rather than drawing them together. Develop each main idea with a specific explanation or example, and make the proposed persuasion methods more direct and practical.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the contrast signalled by “On one hand” and “On the other hand” helps readers identify the main sections. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph moves from busy lifestyles to fast food, then to iron supplements, without fully connecting these points. The second body paragraph shifts from food labelling to vegan and gluten-free choices, which weakens its focus on persuasion. Some linking phrases, such as “In all these debate” and “Moreover,” do not clearly show how the final ideas relate to the preceding discussion. Organise each paragraph around one central point and use clearer references and transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “processed food,” “availability,” “dietary education” and “dependency,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. However, spelling and word-choice errors are frequent enough to make some phrases difficult to process, for example “phycisian,” “acceseeble,” “reash out” and “reah meals.” There are also awkward or imprecise combinations such as “easy source of vitamins” and “desire of quickly getting healthy.” These issues limit the range and control of your vocabulary. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for nutrition and health; choosing simpler, accurate expressions is preferable to using an unclear phrase.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “Despite” and “because,” but control is inconsistent and errors occur frequently. For example, “many individuals still spends” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “many of us have have” repeats the auxiliary. Other examples include “Living such a life style … have resulted them” and “This have also increased,” where agreement and sentence construction are faulty. Some sentences are fragments or lack a clear grammatical connection, such as “Firstly, because of its availability and another factor is convenience.” Review agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence for a complete subject–verb structure. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
