Student answer (Band 6.0)
A healthy diet has been suggested by doctors to reduce the need of getting all the the vitamins. However, some people still prefer to eat vitamins pills and spend large amount of money on them. There are many reasons behind this trend and I think it can be solved by following some measures.
The main reason of spending a lot of money on vitamin pills is that the busy lifestyle. Many people have a hectic schedule, and they do not have enought time to prepare a healthy diet at home. As a result, individuals prefer to eat ready to eat meal or fast food in order to avoid efforts and speding too much on preparing a healthy meal at home. Because of this, some people buy vitamins pills to stay active and fulfill their vitamins requirements for body.
Another reason is the cost of healthy diet. Green vegetables, dry-fruits, and other essential addible require for daily healthy diet are very expensive. Many people who have low budget and surviving pay-check to pay-check, they avoid preparing meals a healthy meal at home and buy some vitamins pills which are less expensive than a healthy balanced diet.
To improve, busy people should prepare a healthy meal at once and preserve it for the day, so that they can save their time and money spending unnecessary on vitamin pills. Additionally, Government should give some compensation on purchasing healthy vegetables, fruits, and nuts. It would help people to improve their diet and avoid buying vitamin pills.
In conclusion, although a busy lifestyle and expesive healthy food compells people to buy vitamin pills, it can be improved if the schedule can be managed properly and spend less time on cooking, also authorities can help to impose tax free healthy food

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a relevant position: you identify busy schedules and the cost of healthy food as reasons, then suggest meal preparation and government support for produce. These points are appropriate, and the explanation that pills seem convenient for people with little time gives the first reason some development. However, the cost argument is less clear: you say healthy food is expensive and pills are cheaper, but do not support this comparison with an example or explain how it applies to different people. The solutions also need fuller explanation, particularly how meal preparation would persuade people to change their habits. Develop each main point with a specific example and a clearer link to the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two reasons, a solutions paragraph and a conclusion. The progression from causes to possible responses is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Another reason” and “Additionally” help guide the reader. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some flexibility in linking ideas. However, several connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “To improve” does not specify what is to be improved, and the final sentence combines several ideas without a clear relationship. Use more precise referencing and make the conclusion summarise the two solutions in a complete, logically connected sentence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “hectic schedule,” “balanced diet,” “preserve,” and “compensation,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation and spelling problems reduce precision. Examples include “eat vitamins pills,” “essential addible,” “speding,” and “expesive.” Some phrases are also awkward, such as “surviving pay-check to pay-check” and “fulfill their vitamins requirements.” These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall argument, but they make parts less natural. Build a more accurate set of collocations for nutrition and public policy, and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including cause-and-effect structures such as “As a result” and a conditional idea beginning “so that they can save their time.” The main message is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain across the response. For example, “the busy lifestyle” is used where the sentence needs a different grammatical construction, and “Many people who have low budget and surviving pay-check to pay-check, they avoid…” has an incomplete clause followed by a repeated subject. There are also problems with articles, agreement and sentence construction, as in “a healthy meal at once” and the final sentence. Practise building complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation in longer sentences.
