Student answer (Band 5.5)
Doctors advised people that by having healthy diet you can have all required vitamins, but some people still spending money on multivitamins tablets. I believe that people tend to buy processed food thats why then need pills to fulfill their body's vitamins. In this eassy I will give one suggestion to improve people's life and motivate them for home made food.
Modern life style is often hectec. As both husband wife are working and none of then have enough time to coock at home. Some time they buy tin foods whereas, in other days they eat takeaways. These are easy to eat and you can skip the dishes. This food is not healthy for any one and they can not have nutritions from them so to fulfill their body's need they buy multivitamins. Which gives them energy and they feel positive.
One suggestion that can minimize this life style. Governments should impose heavy duties on processed food and make the takeaway meals expensive. On top of that local bodies can increase taxes on pills. When people will find them expensive they will plan and bother themselves to eat home made food, because of self made food they will have enough vitamins and they can easily save themselves from cronic diseases. For example in Canada processed food are expensive and it is not familiar in public, government conducted public health awarness programes which help in disease prevention, due to expensive canned food and awareness programs people try to make food at home.
In conclusion, People should manage their time for cocking and eat healthy food. On the other hand, government should impose extra taxes to demotivate people to use such products and spend on pills. Also conduct helth awareness programs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a relevant position: you explain that busy working couples may rely on processed food and then buy supplements, and you propose taxes and health-awareness programmes as ways to encourage change. The example about Canada also attempts to support your proposal. However, the explanation of why pills appeal is not fully developed: the claim that supplements “give them energy” could be explained or qualified, and the link between making takeaway food more expensive and people choosing to cook is asserted rather than demonstrated. The Canada example is also unclear about which measures caused people to cook at home. Develop these points with a clearer explanation and a more precise example to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining the cause, a paragraph proposing measures, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the main line of argument. You also use signposting such as “On top of that” and “For example.” However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “One suggestion” introduces several measures, while “Which gives them energy” is separated from the sentence it refers to. The Canada example also combines several claims in one long sentence, making the relationship between taxes, awareness programmes, and home cooking difficult to follow. Use clearer sentence boundaries and make each paragraph’s supporting details connect explicitly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “processed food,” “multivitamins,” “takeaways,” “taxes,” and “disease prevention,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “impose heavy duties” and “health awareness programmes.” However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural word combinations are noticeable, including “hectec,” “nutritions,” “cronic diseases,” and “demotivate people to use such products.” Some wording is also repetitive, particularly references to food and vitamins. Aim for accurate forms and more natural collocations, such as “nutrients,” “chronic diseases,” and “discourage people from relying on supplements.” This would make your vocabulary more precise and fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “As both husband wife are working” and a conditional structure with “When people will find them expensive.” These attempts show some range, but errors in sentence construction and verb forms recur and sometimes make relationships unclear. For example, “some people still spending” needs a finite verb, and “Doctors advised people that by having healthy diet you can…” has problems with tense, articles, and the shift from “people” to “you.” The fragment “Which gives them energy” should be joined to the preceding sentence. Practise complete clauses, consistent subject–verb agreement, and accurate conditional forms; these changes would improve control while preserving your attempts at complex sentences.
