Student answer (Band 6.0)
Having a healthy diet can help to get all the essentials vitamins according to doctors. Instead of follwing this, some people prefer to spend a large amount of money on pills to get vitamins. I believe that hectic schedule and instant result of pills can be the reasons for not follwing the doctors advice. However, people can be persuaded by making them aware about the side affects of having vitamins.
There are two main reasons why people give preference to buy vitamin pills instead of having a balanced diet. The first reason is related to busy schedule. In this modern world, people spend a chunk of time at workplaces as a result they do not have enough time to spend on themselves. Making healthy diet takes time and they have to follow proper routine and take it after specific time period. Most people find it difficult and stress. As a consequence, they prefer to spend time on pills which is the easiest process to get vitamins because they do not need to do heard work. Moreover, these days the medicines are very advanced due to which people can get result more earlier than healthy diet. This is the main thing which attract people to spend money on them because of having less patience in the new generation.
However, people can be discouraged from vitamin pills by making them aware about the side affects of taking pills to get vitamins. The local health care authorities can arrange some seminars where they can invite specialists who can help in this awareness campus. They can also distribute pemplefts door to door. Moreover, it can be a wonderful idea to open special restaurents or shops where people can get a healthy diet on discount. It can help people to run their business and can be beneficial for those people who do not have time to cook it at home.
In conclusion, although there are some valid reasons why some people spend a large sum of money on buying vitamin pills, they can be convinced to improve their diet by following the above mentioned ways.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both questions and maintain a clear overall position: you explain that busy schedules and a desire for quick results encourage pill use, then suggest awareness campaigns and affordable healthy-food outlets. These are relevant responses, and the examples of seminars and door-to-door information make the proposals more concrete. The explanation of time pressure is more fully developed than the claim that pills produce results sooner, which is asserted rather than explained or supported. Likewise, the final proposal about discounted shops is promising but would benefit from explaining how it would reach people with limited time. More specific examples or evidence would extend these ideas and make the response more consistently developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, a paragraph explaining reasons, a paragraph proposing solutions, and a conclusion. The progression from causes to remedies is easy to follow, and signposts such as “The first reason,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. However, some linking is mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “Moreover” and “because,” and a few connections between ideas are not fully clear. For example, the move from health seminars to discounted restaurants is abrupt, and the conclusion refers generally to “the above mentioned ways” rather than drawing the main points together. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make the relationship between each proposal explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including relevant terms such as “balanced diet,” “vitamin pills,” “health care authorities,” and “specialists.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “hectic schedule” and “side affects.” However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision: “follwing,” “heard work,” “pemplefts,” and “restaurents” make parts of the response less polished, while “get result more earlier” is not a natural expression. Some phrases are also awkward or imprecise, including “spend time on pills” and “awareness campus.” Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for health and public-information topics; this will help you express your ideas more naturally and accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including cause-and-effect structures such as “As a consequence” and clauses beginning with “because” and “where.” This gives the response some variety, and the overall meaning remains understandable. However, errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms occur across the essay. For example, “Making healthy diet takes time” is missing an article, “people can get result more earlier” has problems with number and comparative form, and “the main thing which attract people” has subject–verb disagreement. The sentence beginning “In this modern world” also needs clearer grammatical connection between its clauses. Review articles, agreement, and comparative forms, then proofread complex sentences to ensure each clause is complete and correctly linked.
