Student answer (Band 6.0)
There has been an always debate regarding healthy diet. Having nutritional food gives all the vitamins to the people who needs, according to doctors. However, some individuals continue to spend large amount of money on vitamins pills. In my opinion, Unhealthy diet is the main reason behind this trend which I discuss in an upcoming paragraphs, and awarenees sessions help people to improve diet rather than taking unnecessary pills.
The primary reson behind this development is that many individuals are very protective about their health. They like to keep their health without any diseases, hence they keep taking vitamins pills to imptove their overall health. Another contributing factor is that some people are lazy to consume healthy diet, instead of that they comsume more fast food, deep fry food, and frozen food. Due to this reason, they are always laking the nutritions and vital vitamins in their body. As a result, they have to buy vitamin pills from the market to fulfill their body's requirements.
However, there are different ways to aware people about benefits of healthy diet. The first and foremost, the governement should organize the awareness campaigns and posters regarding what kind of vegetables and fruits will give more vitamins to the body, which help people to learn about advanatge of taking helathy food. Not only governement but also citizens should be more responsible towards their diet including what they are consumed, how many calories are invovled. For instance, before talking any food, they have to check nutritional value food.
In conclusion, I believe that unhealthy diet pattern and over protection will lead to take more vitamins pills, which will reduce by governement and individual efforts.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a relevant position: you identify concern about health and reliance on unhealthy food as reasons for buying supplements, then suggest government campaigns and greater personal attention to nutrition. The examples of fast food and checking nutritional information help make the points concrete. However, some ideas are less fully explained than others. The claim that people are “very protective about their health” could be clarified—for example, explain how fear of illness or convenience makes pills seem attractive. The proposed campaigns are relevant, but you could show more specifically how they would change people’s choices or make healthy eating easier. A fuller explanation of these links would make the response more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph explaining reasons, a paragraph proposing solutions, and a conclusion. The progression from causes to remedies is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Another contributing factor,” “However,” and “For instance” help guide the reader. This already shows effective organisation, but some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “which I discuss in an upcoming paragraphs” is an awkward reference, and the conclusion’s “which will reduce” does not clearly identify what will be reduced. The ideas within the solutions paragraph could also be linked more explicitly, distinguishing government education from individual responsibility. Clearer referencing and smoother transitions would strengthen the flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “nutritional food,” “awareness campaigns,” “nutritional value,” and “contributing factor.” These choices allow you to discuss both causes and possible solutions. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are noticeable, such as “imptove,” “laking the nutritions,” “vitamins pills,” and “check nutritional value food.” Some expressions also repeat, particularly “healthy diet” and “vitamin pills,” limiting flexibility. Aim to learn common collocations and check word forms and spelling: for example, use “vitamin supplements,” “lack essential nutrients,” and “check the nutritional value of food.” More accurate phrasing would make your meaning clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a cause-and-effect structure with “Due to this reason” and a contrast introduced by “However.” Most of the main ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “people who needs” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “they are consumed” uses an unsuitable passive form in “what they are consumed.” Articles and sentence construction also need attention, as in “organize the awareness campaigns” and “which will reduce by governement and individual efforts.” Practise checking agreement, verb forms, and complete sentence patterns, especially when combining clauses. Greater control of these structures would make the response more consistently accurate.
