The given two maps illustrates the way available to a city hopsital from 2007 to 2010.

Overall,There was significant changes made in these 3 years. The bus station was constructed along with public car parking area transforming into staffs car parking area.

As given in the diagram,The city hospital remain untouched and is surrounded by ring road. However, due to lots of changes in design the front road of city hospital was made alittle different.Additionally,The carparking area which was designated for both employess and public has changed. At the first picture car park for employees and public was made in the right side of hospital road which is now dedicated only for staffs and the public car parking is made outside the ring road.

In addition,as we can see there was no roundabout in the diagram made in 2007.However,new roundabout is created in the southeast side of hospital. Along with that new bus station was built in the left part of the city hospital which was absent during first map illustration.Furthermore,The city road remain in same place but the design of the way has dramatically changed.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You identify the main transformation: the shared car park becomes staff-only, a separate public car park is added, and the bus stops are replaced by a bus station. You also note that the hospital and City Road remain in place, giving the response a relevant overview. Some details, however, are incomplete or imprecise. The 2010 map shows two roundabouts—at both the Ring Road and City Road junctions—not just one in the southeast. The bus station is west of Hospital Road, and the new public car park is east of the Ring Road; these locations could be stated more clearly. The claim that the hospital’s “front road” changed is vague. More precise coverage of the access layout would make the summary more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and paragraphs describing the changes. Its sequence is generally understandable, and linking expressions such as “Overall,” “However,” and “In addition” help signal relationships between points. At times, though, the progression feels list-like, and several transitions are repeated rather than used to show precise connections. For example, “Along with that” and “Furthermore” introduce further changes without clearly grouping the road alterations separately from the parking and bus changes. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, as in “the front road” and “the design of the way.” Grouping related features and using more exact references would make the organisation smoother and cohesion less mechanical.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for describing map changes, including “constructed,” “designated,” “surrounded,” and “roundabout,” and the reader can generally understand the intended comparisons. However, word choice and collocation are often imprecise, which limits clarity: “the way available to a city hospital” is not a natural description of road access, while “public car parking area” and “staffs car parking area” are awkward. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “hopsital,” “employess,” and “alittle.” Some phrases, such as “the design of the way,” are too general for a map report. Aim for accurate terms such as “access road,” “car park,” and “road layout,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, using contrast and relative clauses, as in “which is now dedicated only for staffs” and “which was absent during first map illustration.” This shows some range, but errors in sentence formation and control are frequent enough to make parts of the response awkward. Examples include “The given two maps illustrates,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “The city hospital remain untouched,” where the verb form is incorrect. Articles and punctuation are also inconsistently handled, particularly the repeated capitalisation after commas and missing spaces after full stops. Practise accurate present and past forms, agreement, and sentence boundaries; then proofread each sentence for articles and punctuation.
