IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The two pictures illustrate the how changed the community health center in 2007 and 2010.

In 2007 city hospital was situated in center to the ring road. There was one hospital road connected to city road while on hospital road it was a car park for staff and public. The bus stop was nearby the hospital on left side.

In 2010, two roundabouts were added, one near to the city hospital while other placed at city road. Additionally, there was a public car park attached with hospital. The bus stop was removed and changed into bus station on right side of hospital road. There was a public and staff car parking constructed only for staff car parking.

Overall, there were many changes occurs between 2007 and 2010.The bus stop replaced into bus station. Car parking was removed from its position to sourrounded the hospital. Moreover, two roundabouts built into hospital and city road
