It is crystal clear that the building of city hospital remained similar throughout those years also many new building were constructed.

To begin with, it can be seen that the ring road at north side had a new parking area connected to it in the later year. while, two new roundabout are introduced in front of city hospital road as well as the connecting the bus station to them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of the maps, such as the addition of roundabouts, the new bus station, and the changes to car parking. However, the overview is somewhat weak; it mentions that the hospital building remained the same, but it fails to provide a clear summary of the most significant changes, such as the improved road access and the reorganization of transport facilities. The description of the locations is occasionally imprecise (e.g., 'north side' vs 'north east'), which affects the clarity of the report. To improve, ensure the overview highlights the most striking trends rather than just listing individual changes.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the information. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the use of 'while,' 'Moreover,' and 'Although' is sometimes forced or grammatically incorrect within the sentence structure. The transition between the description of the parking and the bus station is abrupt. Improving the flow between sentences by using more natural linking phrases and ensuring that referencing (e.g., 'them,' 'the later year') is clear would significantly enhance the coherence of the report.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'changes happened in city hospital' instead of 'changes to the city hospital' and 'public car park was build' instead of 'built.' The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, relying on basic descriptors. To achieve a higher score, try to incorporate more precise terminology related to maps and urban planning, such as 'relocated,' 'constructed,' 'expanded,' or 'remained unchanged.'

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include incorrect verb forms ('was build' instead of 'was built'), missing articles ('at north side'), and punctuation errors, particularly with capitalization and comma usage. The sentence structure is often fragmented, making some parts of the text difficult to follow. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage (past tense for describing 2007/2010) will help improve the accuracy of your writing.
