IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The two map illustrates road access to a city hospital between a period of three years from 2007 to 2010
Overall, there has been a significant change in the layout of the hospital especially in terms of convenience for the public for parking, transport and organisation of the parking
Moreover the parking layout has seen a significant change in the road structure leading to the hospital entrance on the south side in 2007 it was a straight road leading to the entrance but the major change was the addition of two roundabouts which is also connected to the bus station on the southwest side of the road.
However, in 2007 there was only one carpark which was used by the staff and the public, whereas in 2010 there has been a addition of one more carpark made specifically for the public which is located on the northeast side of the hospital and orignal carpark is for staff only.
In general, the hospital has made many changes which has benefitted the public aswell as the staff
