The two maps illustrate how road access to a city hospital changed between 2007 and 2010.
Overall, the road system around the hospital was significantly improved during this period. The main changes were the construction of a new roundabout, the addition of new roads, and improvements to the entrances and parking facilities.
In 2007, the hospital was accessed from Hospital Road, which connected with City Road. There was a car park for staff and visitors near the hospital. A minor road also provided access to the hospital from the surrounding residential area.
By 2010, the road network had become more developed. A new roundabout was constructed at the junction of Hospital Road and City Road, making traffic movement easier. In addition, a new road was built around the hospital, providing an alternative route for vehicles. The car park was also expanded, while separate entrances were introduced for staff and the public.
Overall, these changes made access to the hospital easier and improved traffic flow compared with 2007.
