The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The map below illustrates the road access to the urban hospital in the year 2007 and 2010.

Overall, the 2010 road access to the city hospital is more advanced, with additional services compared to the 2008 blueprint. Regarding the 2008 road, the bus station is far away from the hospital compared to the 2010 blue print where the bus station was constructed just on the west side of the main entrance. In 2008, the public and staff park are used in one spot, however, in 2010 public and staff park was constructed separately in different spot. the separation include construction of public car park on the east side of the hospital and a staff park located on the east side of the hospital. Turning to the roundabout, which was not constructed in 2007 blueprint. Nevertheless, in 2010 map 3 roundabout was constructed, including one on the east and two on the south of the hospital.

In conclusion, the map of the road access to a city hospital was more advanced in 2010 with separate public and staff parking. Moreover, a roundabout was introduced which was lacked in 2007 blueprint.
