IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The given plans illustrate information about the road access to a city hospital between 2007 to 2010.
Overall, there were several transformation and replacement made in city hospital such as public car park, roundabout, bus station so on.
To begin with, in 2007 from southern part there were four roads connected, whereas middle leads to hospital road. Similarly, cark park of staff and public were same zone, to parking need to take ring road almost round of the city hospital from the left side of the hospital road. In addition, bus stop was on the eastern part.
On the other hand, in 2010 two roundabout was built one in the in southern and another in central part five roads were connected and central road in connected to hospital road. Although roundabout connects bus stop on the right corner, on left side there was staff cark park. For the public car park need to ride ring road on the eastern side, there was public car park.
