IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The map presents the alterations in road access of city hospital from 2007 to 2010.
Overall, during the given period between 2007 and 2010 considerable modifications are made in the south side of the city hospital road whereas new infrastructure is been added to it.
Initially, in the east side of city hospital, a new public car park is been added which is attached to the ring road However on the west and north division no modification has been made.
In the contrast, in south east side public car park and bus stop is rebuilt to staff car park and bus stop is completly removed and two new roundabouts are constructed one is in the middle of the hospital road and other in south division of city road.Furthermore, on the south west side bus stop have been completly upgraded to the bus station where people can access it more conveniently.
