IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given map illustrates the information about the road which access to different facilities of city hospital in between 2007 to 2010. It has been clearly seen from the picture diagrams that there has been undergone changes done into infrastructure of the hospital.

To commence with, the ring road and city hospital remained on same position , in 2007 and 2010. Moving towards the south-east corner of the map, public and staff car park were separated in 2010 as compared to 2007, where both the parking were together. Moreover, on the east side bus stop had been allocated by a roundabout and from center of the map hospital road was connected with two roundabouts, in 2010. Interestingly, which also joins to the bus station road towards the south-west, connects to city road roundabout.

Overall, it has been evident that there was little changes had been done into road structure which also connects to two newly made roundabouts in 2010.
