IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given maps illustrates information about road access to city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

To commence with, The city hospital in year 2007 , hospital was in the north direction and in around of the hospital the ring road was made. In front of the hospital in right side thee was place for car parking where staff and public both can park there vehicle. Moreover in the East there was a bus stop and to reach the hospital there is a four-way. However, the road has been constructed. In year 2010 some changes has been made, parking for staff and public have been separated so no-one have to face any kind of difficulty. The bus station is now just in-front of the hospital so patients do not have to travel from far. the round about has been constructed so it will be easy for vehicles to move on the four way road.

To conclude, there are only few changes have been made such as parking , round about and bus station for patients and staff.
