The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The maps compare the road access of city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Overall, it is evident that it became more organized by building more accessible roads for different purposes. Furthermore, after the development, there were two roundabouts available.

In 2007, from the city road to the city hospital, a hospital road was situated with six bus stops three on each side. On the east side of the road, a car park for public and staff was located. Also, city hospital was surrounded by rectangular-shaped ring road.

In 2010, two new roundabouts were built each on between city road to hospital road and hospital road to the ring road. On the west side of the hospital road, a new bus station was built with additional roads to both roundabouts. The car park which was for both public and staff was devoted solely to staff in 2010. On the east side of city hospital, a new car park for public was built.
