The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The maps depict the changes that took place in a city hospital in the 2007 and 2010.
Overall, the city hospital underwent significant development over the three years period, with several new facilities being constructed such as public car park and a bus station. While some existing features are removed, replaced and expanded.
Regarding the Northern side of the map, several changes can be observed. The square shape ring road was noticed, in 2010, ring road was redesigned with roundabout road. To the east side of ring road, public car park was built, connected with ring road in 2010.
Focusing on the Sothern part of the layout, it can be noticed that in city road was located across the west side to east side in 2007. Meanwhile, city road was redeveloped with addition of circular pathway in 2010. the west side of hospital road. The bus station was developed. The hospital road was remained unchanged in both years. Staff car parking was redesigned in east side of layout.
