Overall, the infrastructure underwent significant developments aimed at managing traffic flow and separating vehicle usage. Key additions included two new roundabouts, a dedicated bus station, and the division of public and staff parking areas.
In 2007, Hospital Road connected City Road directly to Ring Road, which encircles the hospital. Six bus stops were located along both sides of Hospital Road. A single car park situated to the east of Hospital Road served both staff and the public, accessible via both Hospital Road and Ring Road.
By 2010, two roundabouts were introduced to streamline traffic: one at the junction of City Road and Hospital Road, and another further north at the intersection leading to Ring Road. The six original bus stops along Hospital Road were replaced by a dedicated bus station located on the west side of the road, which was directly accessible via the newly added roundabouts.
Additionally, parking facilities were restructured. The original car park to the east was converted exclusively into a staff car park. To cater to visitors, a new, larger public car park was constructed to the east of Ring Road, with direct access leading off Ring Road itself.
