IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The two maps illustrate the layout of, CITY HOSPITAL in 2007 and the proposed changes to be made in 2010.

Overall it can be seen that, a city hospital is set to undergo significant redevelopment, with new facilities added to enhance to upgrade the view experience.

To commence, in 2007, the city hospital had a simple layout to the all view. However, south side there were a Bus stop where all the buses were been parking. additionally, north upper side of the city hospital there was a ring road which directly connected to the main road. Furthermore, on southern area down there was a facilities to all individuals to car park To illustrate, staff and public beyond the Hospital road.

on the other hand, several changes to be made in 2010, remove the area of Bus stop added a roundabout and the bus tops is put on the west area. Moreover, on opposite to west on east also add personal staff car parking to all doctors which was between Hospital main road. as a result, there was a two circle which was joined to north and south. Finally, the Ring road same as it was in 2007.
