IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The diagram illustrates information about road access to a city hospital between 2007 and 2010. There were several facility added for visitors.

Overall, there was only one car park for staff and public but in 2010 the number of car park were two and separated car park for public and staff, whereas there was only one straight road towards city hospitals but there were two roundabout established in 2010.

Initially, there was no bus station near the city hospital but in 2010, it was constructed near hospital road. Moreover, there were an availability of a car park for public and reaching towards public car park, it is in the east side of city hospital. Meanwhile, the hospital road was reconstructed and installed roundabout in both end of hospital road, one was connected the city hospital with ring road and another roundabout connected with the city road and both were connected with bus station.
