The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The two maps illustrate road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

In general, the map of road and access to hospital were totally changed, such as a separate bus station built and two roundabouts were also added in road map.

In detail, the ring covered the whole building of hospital in 2007 with six bus stops and a car park which was collectively used by staff and public. Additionally, there was not any roundabout in the city road.

The road map of city hospital in 2010 improved by adding some new changes in the access road and parking area. Firstly, two roundabouts were added in the map one was in ring road and connected with hospital road. The staff car park separated from public car park in the same place right to the hospital road. The public car park was later moved to right alongside the hospital building. The other roundabout was in the city road and connected to the hospital road. The bus station was linked with both roundabouts.
