IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The maps illustrates the upgradtion of hospital road in the year of 2007 and 2010.
Overall, the hospital is connected with bus station following the upgradtion that happend in 2010 with the help of two roundabouts.
In 2007, there is only one car park in the east side to accomodate public and staff parking. Which was seprated in to two different sections in 2010, one parking lot in the south is designated for staff only parking and other one for general public in eastern side which is connected to the hospital with a small gate.
In 2010, the bus station in south west is interlinked with two roundabouts with city road and hospital road while in 2007 the hospital road was only connected with city road. The bus stops was demolished on the left of the hospital road in 2010 while a new road is connected to bus station in south west via roundabout.
