The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 4.5)

The provided map demonstrates the direct access to a City hospital along with the few changes in the year 2007 and 2010.

Initially, in the year 2007, City hospital was not built in an appropriate design , which causes much inconvenience for the public and as well as for the health-care workers. Straight to the city road and then turn right , there we see the road leading to the health center, but the road was too much over-crowded due to the numerous lorries that were parked along the hospital road , making it a lot noisy. Then regarding to the car parking area where all the staff members and other workers parked their automobiles, moving through the hospital road , we came across the ring road which is main road linking to the City hospital.

Moving towards the changes that were considered for re-building the exterior area of the City hospital in the year 2010. As we went through the city road , we came across a new structure known as roundabout which is further connected to the 4 main paths to reach the hospital. Crossing the roundabout ,we arrived at the hospital road which is organized in a much better way , making it suitable for the members of the society. The parking area is also well-managed and noise-free .

Another significant change was made for the public car parking so that they can easily parked out their cars and get accessible to the main road. The public can acquire direct access to the hospital after getting their vehicles parked.

So, regarding the troubles that the outsiders had to face due to the over-crowdedness and noise pollution ,also making it more detrimental for the patient inside the hospital. Various changes were made to make it a better option and the priority of the public.
