IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The map illustrates information about road access yo the city hospital between 2007 and 2010.

Overall, the hospital routes are more developed and functional in 2010 as compared to 2007. Like new staff parking, city road circle and public car parking near hospital.

In 2007, the car parking and staff parking both are together near to hospital road by passing from city road. Also, there are six bus stops were mentioned on the hospital road, near the parking.

In 2010, the parking areas was separated: public car parking is build near the city hospital at east side. Whereas, the staff car parking is still near the hospital road on the right side. The bus station is located on the left side of hospital road near city hospital, to passing from city road and took roundabout on left side , the bus station were there. In the end the city hospital and roads were more developed in 2010, as before.
