IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

City Hospital's surounding area had gone athrough construction after 2007 as that got successfully completed in 2010.

Prevously in 2007, the City Road was perpendicular to the Hospital Road, on the right had a car parking area for the staff and public and three bus stops on both sides of the road, respectively. City Hosptal was completely surounded by Rig Road that connects to Hospital Road to it's south.

Later in 2010, after the contruction was completed. The south of the City hospital got a round about that connects the Ring Road and the Public car park towards the right, Hospital Road, and the newly constructed bus station towards the left. On the East of the Hospital Road there is a staff car park, connected to the Ring Road. An other roundabout is constructed at the south of Hospital Road and the west of city road that connects the two roads and the bus stop.

Therefore, the newly built bus station and separate parking area for public and staff was a new addition in the 2010 renovation.
