IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The map illustrate how city hospital looks at 2007 and how it was changed in 2010.

Overall,the area is expected to undergo significant changes, with several new facilities and Bus station added. However, some existing features remain unchanged.

Looking first at the western part of the area , Car park area was transformed into staff car park. In addition, Public car park , Roundabout and Bus station was added. Furthermore, the hospital road was surrounded by two circular ring. Roundabout was spherical in shape.

Turning to the eastern part of the area the bus stop was compleytely removed in 2010. City hospital , City road and Hospital road was unchanged. Moreover, RIng road was also remains stable in both the years.It was rectangular in shape and outlines the city hospital .Public park was also situated near the City hospital.Additionally, city road was located in eastern part in both of the year. Trees was buried near the hospital road but it was removed in the year of 2010.
