The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The maps compare the road system providing access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Overall, the road system around the hospitalwas significantly redeveloped, with two roundabouts and bus station being added. In addition separate car parks were provided for public and staff which reduce the crowd of vehicles on hospital road, while the hospital and RingRoad remained largely unchanged.

In 2007, Hospital Road provided direct access beyween city road and the hospital. The road, while single cark park for both public and staff and located to the east side of the Hospital Road.

By 2010, the original junction had been replaced by a roundabout, providing easier access to the hospital. In addition two new entrances constructed for going in hospital one from the roundabout and the other one is from car park, Nevertheless bus station also construct nearly to the hospital which helps many patient to arrive early and easy to the hospital.
