The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The two different maps delineate the road acsses to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Overall, there were significant changes made; car parking was divided into categories, roundabouts were added and bus station was build near the hospital road and bus stops were demolished.

In 2007, there was only one parking area used by both staff and public, however by 2010 the parking lot for public was sperated and built on the east side of city hospital ring road. In 2007 the roads were simple but by 2010 two roundaborts were made. One connecting the city road and hospital road and the other connecting hospital road and ring road.

In 2007 there were bus stops at east and west side of hospital road but by 2010, bus stops were demolished and bus station was developed near the southwest of city hospital and ring road. The bus station was connected by two roundabouts on starting and ending of hospital road.
