IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The two diagrams are the maps of the City Hospital.One is of 2007 which is the top image and bottom one is of 2010 which is a renewed structure of hospital.
Talking about the old map,standing at the south,which is the City road, if we go through the hospital road, it has bus stops on either sides .There is also a car park for staff and public combined on the right side of the road.The ring road is adjacent to the hospital which is in the centre.
Some variations has been done in 2010.When we stand on the City Road, there is a roundabout, if we take the left turn around the roundabout we reach the Bus Station.There is also another roundabout if we take the path straight right or we can go from the hospital road . The staff car park is on the right side of road and the public car park is in the east of Hospital.
