IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The maps illustrates road access to the City hospital compares in two different years 2007 and 2010.
Overall, various changes have been made to the road access in 2010 as compared to 2007.
Initially, the car park: staff and public, is converted into solely staff car park. The public car park is separated from the staff car park and is built at the eastern side of the City hospital in 2010. The both ends of the hospital road are replaced with the roundabout. The ring road at north of City hospital is connected with the new public car parking.
In 2007, there were six bus stands on eastern and western sides of the hospital road that were removed by 2010 and a separate and a single bus station was built at the north-west direction, connecting with both the roundabouts. The city road on south-east side does not got any changes as compared to the year 2007.
