IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The two diagram compares the ways to hospital in 2007 and 2010. There was a hospital surrounded by ring road in both maps while there were no partitions separating bus stop and parking for staff or public during last three years. However, after three years separate space allocated to staff car parking and public car parking as well as bus station.
In 2007, city road was directly connected to the city hospital conserving area for car parking toward southeast of the hospital while bus stop was in the southwest of the hospital from main road. There were no roundabout roads and very confined space was available for all purpose.
After three years, innovations are made to achieve these goals like creating different areas for bus station, staff car parking and public car parking which in return decreses the hustle and bustle in the road. The two roundabout roads are also established to decreases the business
