The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The two map illustrates the changes that have taken place in city hospital in between 2007 and 2010.
Overall, the hospital undergone significant redevelopment, with the removal of several traditional features, and the introduction of modern facilities, such as roundabout, although the car parking for staff members and bus stop has been retained but their location have been altered.
In 2007, the city hospital contained car parking on hospital road for both staff and public in the south-east side of the hospital, While the bus stop also located in the south-east side of the hospital, also the hospital connected to two roads, one from ring road other from city road.
In 2010, the car parking for public and staff were seprated, while the location of the bus station has been also altered, and two new roundabout has been added on the hospital road between the bus station and staff car parking.
