The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The two maps illustrate the development of a city hospital road in 2007 and 2010.

Overview, it is evident that the area underwent significant development with several new facilities being introduced and some existing features being developed in another area of hospital.

In 2007, there was a hospital road in the centre of the map along with city hospital and ring road in the North side. Car park staff and public was in the east - south corner. Besides this, there was a city road, which is connected to the hospital road.

In 2010, a roundabout was established in the east-south corner, while bus stop was installed in the western direction. Staff park and public car park being separated after development. Public car park was renovated in the same place, whereas staff car park was relocated to the south-east side near by hospital road. Other remain features were remained unchanged.
