The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The given maps depicts the road heading to the city hospital and some facilities near the hospital in 2007 and 2010.
In 2007, it can be seen clearly that city hospital was surrounder by a ring road. Furthermore, in the south of the city hospital, there was a car park for staff as well as for public, on west and east of hospital road. Lastly, main road is heading from east to west and a intersection connects the main road with hospital road.
After 3 years, the city hospital witnessed that the public car park was shifted to the east of the hospital and a roundabout was constructed on the center, connecting ring road and hospital road. Apart from it, a bus station had been constructed on the west of the hos[ital road and a staff car parking of east. Not only this, one more roundabout can be seen in the south connecting main road and the hospital road.
Overall, it is evident that city hospital had developed road connetivity. Moreover, new facilities like car park, bus station and a seperate car parking for staffs were constructed.
