IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons wherever relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given map compares the infrastructure of city hospital road between 2007 and 2010.

Overall, it can be seen that there were many new changes was come in 3 years and a number of roundbouts added.

Looking at the map in more details. Firstly, ring road was in the north side of city hospital and facility of car parking for staff and public in the south-east. Furthermore, bus stop was located in east far from hospital.

Moreover, there was many new changes come in infrastructres of city hospital roads, first of all, new car park made in east only for public and ring road was at the same place as 2007. Furthermore, one big roundbout was made in south and it connected to another roundbout and bus station which was moved from east to the opposite side of previous car park. In addition, previous car parking shifted into only for staff.
